RT73 FW Update

The Latest Firmware

The latest Software and Firmware can be downloaded from the Retevis RT73 support page located here. LINK
Click on the SUPPORT tab at the upper right, then select FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE.

Download and unzip the latest firmware.
There you will find 2 files:
RT73 IAP(setup).exe
RT73_202*****.bin

Install the IAP program and the following icon will appear.

Firmware Update Procedure

- Plug in the programming cable
- BACKUP your current DATA FILE

- Power the radio OFF
- Press and Hold the P1 key and Power ON.
The radio will turn on with a blank white screen.
- Run the IAP program
- The following screen will appear

- (1) Select Open to connect the COM port
- (2) Select Open APP File and choose downloaded .bin file
- (3) Select IAP to start the firmware update procedure

Current Page and End Page will show the status of the update.
When complete, the radio will power off.

Power the radio back on and go to Device Info / Version to verify the version number.
