Product Introduction
Nagoya NA-701C
Commercial, GMRS
antenna
The Nagoya NA-701C is the commercial / GMRS version of the Nagoya
NA-701,
that measures in at 8" (21cm) and terminated with an
SMA-F connector. It's a Dual Band 1/4 wavelength antenna specifically designed for the higher frequencies commonly used on Commercial, Government, and GMRS frequencies.
Where the NA-701 is cut for the Ham Radio bands (144 / 430MHz),
the 701C is matched specifically for 155 / 455 MHz.
When I received the antenna, my first test was using a GMRS
radio (462 MHz). The SWR was low and performance was very
good. This antenna is a good option if you are using a
handheld such as a UV82C in commercial service.
Note: Yes, the radio I used is certified for GMRS and my
call is WQVJ811.
