The UV-50X3 cable (PC05) is 39" (1m) long with a round 8 pin
connector, and using an FTDI chip. The latest FTDI driver should load in
automatically.
If a separate driver download is required (32/64 bit), here is the link to the
FTDI drivers page.
- Although similar in appearance to the Yaesu cable, they may not be pin
compatible.
- There are similar cables available that do not use the FTDI chipset and may
require special drivers. These drivers are available
HERE.
